T-Mobile USA is tipped to be readying a potentially true-unlimited data plan for its heaviest users. According to TmoNews‘ tipster, who sent them a shot of the carrier’s internal systems, “an unlimited plan for more than 5GB of monthly data use will launch sometime this year.”

The news was seemingly included on a 4G Mobile Hotspot training document, and indeed T-Mobile is expected to launch an HSPA+ hotspot device sometime this month. Codenamed “Lil Wayne”, the device will apparently support up to 21Mbps downloads. No pricing for the incoming unlimited plan has been suggested.
