I think the phone is really good and the overall performance of C7 is really good, but I don’t like the keypad of Nokia Astound C7, because I have a good fingers and the keypad of C7 is not going my way.

Rumors are in the air that AT&T announced plans to buy T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom.The credit goes to “http://www.i4u.com/45745/att-buys-t-mobile-usa-surprise-move” for providing me the information. The news also provide some important information about it. I was provided the news that AT&T will acquire T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom in a cash-and-stock transaction currently valued at approximately $39 billion. As part of the transaction, Deutsche Telekom will receive an equity stake in AT&T that, based on the terms of the agreement, would give Deutsche Telekom an ownership interest in AT&T of approximately 8 percent.Of course this acquisition will make AT&T much more competitive and Verizon will have to think about their next moves to counter this expansion of AT&T.Thanks to i4u for providing me such an important information.

Terrible review…
1st, why pick on the video call camera? Its MEANT for video calling, and quality is really good…Any secondary camera on a phone sucks if you takings out still pics with it…
2nd, there is hardly any info of the specs…I know there is already a C7 review, but come on! Theres NOTHING about the screen and call quality,!
3rd, you should tell us WHY Symbian is good and bad, people should know the pros and cons of the phone…

Not quito so. This is what Nokia says:

Please note that there is normally a slight variation in the purple color level in each display unit. This is related to the display manufacturer’s optical tuning process. However, some Nokia C7 and Nokia N8 users seem to be experiencing a slightly higher level of purple color tint on their device screens.

Nokia Care’s technical experts told me that the easiest way to spot this problem is to just look at the black idle screen of the device – if there is a clear purple color tint on the idle screen, you should have the device inspected at a Nokia Care point. They will repair the device the device under warranty if there is a clear defect in the device.

So seeing some purple on the test image does not necessarily mean that your screen is faulty, but we hope that it helps some people to decide whether they should visit a Nokia Care point.

Nice review. Does swype work now in portrait?
Worth mentioning is that you don’t need a smartphone data play, makes another 10$ or so difference PER MONTH!
Seems like the new symbian version does make a difference, compared to the N8 reviews.

In my view the N8 is the ONLY camera phone.

Yes, there are fun little snappers in phones, but N8 is the first smart phone to have a real camera inside it. And Megapixels have nothing to do with it, its the sensor, thats even bigger than what typical cameras have.

-.- just because you like the interface of the Thunderbolt’s camera more, doesn’t mean the camera itself is better. I doubt ANY phone could take pictures as well as the N8.

You may like the ThunderBolt “experience” more, but the N8 takes the BEST pictures! These e.g. you would not be able to shoot with any other mobile phone camera than the N8

the N8 may have been rated higher in megapixels, but I like the HTC camera interface enough that I’d rate the overall ThunderBolt camera experience tops at this time, yes.
