Here is Similar Story

Nokia have just released a new software update for the N8 & C7 handsets. This new update is a fix for some N8 devices that have the software version 011.012. & possibly some new C7 devices.

There have been some reports by users that the devices have been locking up or crashing. This update will work for both.

To perform the update you should:

     *Press the Menu key,
     *Select Applications,
     *Select SW Update,
*Phone Apps Update 3302Kb (selected with a green tick),
*Select Options / Start Update or press the play key to start download,
*Software will download, phone will restart when installed.

i think that Symbian is like a rapper who found religion - good job, but you're doing it wrong. Windows Phone 7 is more like a singer who's got a really great voice but decided to dedicate itself to doing pop music - come on, really? make an acoustic album once. take the time and make a really versatile album instead of just three notes every song - no offense to nirvana, of course.

its just that people are so used to one OS or the other already, it's tough to create something that isn't just a copy of what's already worked. i appreciate what symbian is trying to do - i dont know if it's going to WORK, but it is interesting

Fun review. First time I have heard intuitive used with Symbian. Usually "incredible functionality, but hard to use." Walking dead comments, yes, true and yes it is an "outdated OS" but I still dont understand the term. It is more functional, wildly widespread etc etc. Only thing I can think of is maybe it doesnt scale to multi-threading etc well?

At least it's an honest review. I still think Symbian is heads and shoulders above WP7. It's a shame Elop sold Nokia down the river to his MS buddies. With as slow a start as WP7 is having, I'm not sure it'll ever become as viable as ios or Android.

That said, this is a nice phone. Pretty good screen (CBD I thought) and even without the necessary UI boost yet (to put Symbian in the "eye candy" group with the rest) is very functional.
I wish Symbian 5th ed. had been this polished when I bought my 5800.
