And the C7 Astound has some nice photo apps for its 8Mpixel cam like ’3DPhotoFree’ which makes the Astound into a 3D camera phone http://store.ovi.com/content/76209

What makes you think a 3G band has been removed? Nokia’s Astound product page at http://phones.nokiausa.com/eCommerce/SpecialOffer.aspx?cid=36285_7e1d846b190b4b94a5c68af59295c78b
lists 3G as “UMTS 850/900/1700/2100/1900/2100″ which is the same as other Symbian^3 phones.

What I’d like to know too. That and I think you’d be a fool to wait for WP7 phones. Symbian trounces WP7 as of right now (and presumably for the foreseeable future as well.)

Where do you see it as quadband 3G? What frequency is missing?
