I switched from tmobile for an iphone 3gs also, now I try to escape ATT and Apple as soon as possible. Sad that ATT and Tmobile plan to merge. This will leave no GSM option in the US. Hate ATT by now: pricy, slow, totally mad about lockin iphones, restrictive software installs, crayzy data plans (tether??). I guess I have to move to Europe or Asia soon

84Mbps is only the tip of the iceberg. By 2013, HSPA+ should be available in a 300+ Mbps flavor.

yup, thats what im thinking. the fastest you can go with hspa+ is 84Mbps, they have barely touched the speed capabilities of the 3G spectrum. Continue the backhaul, fiber optics to all the towers, even 50Mbps would be quick as hell

Screw LTE. Refine HSPA+ (uh, if you can’t even get that off of the ground, what are you even DOING messing around with LTE), get your billing in order (maybe you need to rethink your plan structure), and go back to the drawing board to figure out how to make an offer no one can refuse.

It’s called “innovation”. Stop playing follow the leader, and figure out something new, or just sell out to Verizon and just give up.

more like make up for it by getting a bunch of users that will not switch to Iphone due to the stupid high price. Since they wanted IOS so much, it will be very hard to get them to switch back.

I left tmo 18 months ago for an iPhone 3gs and then up graded to iPhone 4 last year. Just returned to tmo because iPhone 4 sucks! Glad to have control over my new mytouch 4G running froyo!

This is why Android is more of a commodity than a preference. Not many I know sought out an Android phone, they were given no other choice.

Not all consumers are uber geek rooting google fans.
