In US, they actually have the One XL, not One X, but it's called One X instead of One XL. One XL, which is what we have in US carried by AT&T, is actually a better phone than One X. Despite having dual instead of quad cores, it's actually faster in most benchmarks and it has a far better battery life. It also comes with Qualcomm's better RF, WiFi, and GPS chipsets. Not to mention LTE, which has typical download speeds of 30 Mbps and upload speeds of 25 Mbps, and these speeds are pretty consistent.

T-mobile USA doesn't use LTE, but HSPA+, which is actually based on 3G technology. So, having a quad-core smartphone seems totally plausible on their network. In the New York area, I've found T-mobile's data speed to be adequate, and with so many wifi-hotspots, it's not much of an issue where I live. However, the extra processing speed will be a great boost for multi-tasking and for a more fluid UI experience.

There aren't any phones in the USA that have a quadcore, only international phones do, and if u buy an international quadcore phone in hopes of using it here in the states, good luck, cause no 4g networks can support quadcore at this time. Your phone will only be able to make calls/send texts, that's it, nothing more

a) It's not a mobile phone, it is a mini computer that just happens to have a built in application for a phone and it's not the year 2001 and b) no problem with battery life on a one X or a Galaxy S3 which both have Quad Core Power. Go to bloggsmarena for battery test results. Go and educate yourself on this before making uneducated assumptions.

Didn't NVIDIA recently announce that their new Tegra T3+ chips support LTE?

http://pcper.com/news/Mobile/NVIDIA-Tegra-3-gets-boost-LTE-Support-30-Devices-year

Therefore, this could also well be a quad-core LTE phone running Jelly Bean headed to AT&T. Initial benchmarks for it had showed cingular_us (former AT&T).
