My wife has a WP8 NOKIA 820.
Sometimes it freezes, need to pull the battery. But she cannot get the back off the phone herself, so I or another friend, have to open the phone for her to remove the battery.
Well, as it turns out, if she just sets the phone down and waits, eventually the device will restart itself without removing the battery. She found this out when no one was there to open the phone for her.
I don't know how long it took to reboot itself.
This is a good start, of course not freezing at all would be better.
Peace

I have 10 years experience with both systems, and I can say hands down the mac side is less of a hassle. I don't buy computers often, but I can go much longer with mac hardware. Its about a 5:3 ratio (can go 5 years for mac, 3 for pc).

In all honesty I haven't had problems with windows 7 and it runs large excel files everyday along with web browsing and even some video uploads. Its a core 2 duo machine as well (2.93 GHz i believe) so its kinda old.

I haven't had problems with Apple's Lion or Mountain Lion OS.
My 2012 MacBook Pro is running Mountain lion, and my 2007 MacBook is running Lion. Both systems have never had a Kernel panic.

Had that annoying BSOD in Windows 7 and now it's Widows 8's time to show us that Fu*king bluish page. I'm really tired of these. Every time I think of switching to Macintosh but an inner voice stops me and I DON"T KNOW WHY.
