If you’re one of those people who talk on their phones while driving you really need to get with the program and hang up or get something handsfree. You’re a road hazard and no matter how skillful you think you are, you’re not. The SurfaceSound Compact is a product you should look in to.

It’s mounted on your visor and uses Bluetooth, of course. Once the microphone is pulled down, it connects to your cell phone and you’re ready to go. It has a rechargeable battery that lasts for 15 hours of talk-time or 22 days of standby.

It is kind of pricey, $100, but it’s a safety device in the end. $100 isn’t a tremendous price to pay when lives could be on the line.
