I don't think that Tizen OS will be exclusive to the x86 architecture. Its father, MeeGo developed from Moblin and Maemo was intended to run native code apps on both x86 and ARM devices; while its Siamese twin, Bada was also built to run on ARM devices. If I know something, I do know that Samsung likes to vertically integrate its manufacturing as much as possible. Making Tizen devices only x86 will take the CPU out of Samsung's hands. That's why I'm deducing that if Samsung wants any part of Tizen, it will make sure it is able to run on their on Exynos chips.

Well my original comment was a lame trolling attempt to take a jab at the fact that GS III has pentile matrix.

I probably shouldn't have to reply to you but I'm doing it to express how Tizen might play out in Samsung's strategy.

actually not

Moving over to x86 platform means less production of their own ARM based chips. I highly doubt intel will let samsung license their CPU architecture for the x86 transition.

As for tizen, based on the rumors of bada's demise and that it's getting merged into tizen, it's not necessarily bad

I don't know if it's going to be true but it looks to me that Samsung might give Android the boot and treat it like it's redheaded stepchild and give its lovechild (with Intel), Tizen the Galaxy S treatment. If it offers Tizen as its premium phone, it may be a disaster for the GS fans.
