First thoughts when I saw the images were “Not something a pro could make a living with but would be great if they could port this tech to a phone”

Not sure what kind of expertise is required to make a phone-friendly lens, but I’m holding a glimmer of hope (despite not being an iPerson). Of course, they’ll need the software to work on the phone as well.

Lytro tech is so new that miniaturizing it to Apple design standards will take a while.
