This is a great talk for many reasons. Steve Jobs not only shared many bits of vision with many others, but he largely assembled a larger vision and then built a company to deliver many of those ideas into extremely well designed and executed products.

It's not too hard to understand that in contrast to the leadership of many other companies in the information technology space, Jobs had a better run than any of them -- measured in many ways.

If you listen to this talk -- you will hear a man who is inspiring in terms of how sure he is both wanting to invent and then realize these ideas. Contrast his attitude and enthusiasm to most people in life:

You can be snippy about a visionary like Steve Jobs, or you can get inspired by him -- it's your choice.

All Jobs did was predict dates, and hardly specific ones. Saying Apple was working towards a book type computer device was an idea created long long before this interview. First laptop described as a book happened in 1968 to be exact.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynabook

As previously mentioned by others, the concept of wireless computing also existed well before this interview so again, he just roughly picked dates. Saying Jobs was 'spot on' is quite the stretch.

Hi @ssclown. Trust your senses over your judgement. In this case, use your eyes. They will provide the information necessary to determine that this tape was not produced, recorded, or controlled by Apple in any way, shape, or form. You're wrong about Steve being God, but I'm sure that doesn't surprise you. No doubt you spend your life emotionally reacting to your ungrounded perception of reality - resulting in you being wrong more often than right.
