StarChase offers cops a way to track runaway cars

If you had any thoughts to test out how fast those cop cars can really go as they are chasing you through the streets, you’d better do it before the local cop cars get this new device. If they do, you’ll never be able to lose them on some random back road.

A device is mounted on the bumper of the police car which projects a GPS receiver onto the car in front of them. The transmitter has a battery in it and will let the cop know where you are.

Which means, just when the one trying to make a quick escape thinks they have gotten away, they find several cop cars waiting to cut them off. Which might help make streets a bit more safe.
