There have been a lot of Star Wars games over the years, many of which have been a lot of fun. Then there have been the games that were downright terrible (I’m looking at you Masters of Teräs Käsi). Of course Star Wars Galaxies manages to fit into both categories, as it was once a great game, then was subsequently ruined by SOE. Yes, they’ve made improvements, but it’ll never be as great as it once was. I know what would really help Galaxies out; a trading card game.

Champions of the Force

I also have fond memories of playing Star Wars CCG way back in the day. Then one day I wake up and it too has been converted into a completely new game that it’s half as fun (and won’t work with any of my previous cards). Honestly, now that I think about it, this seems like a perfect match for Star Wars Galaxies.

No, this new Champions of the Force card game inside of Galaxies won’t have anything to do with previous card games, but will be something brand new. It will be playable from inside the game similar to Legends of Norrath: Oathbound. Of course you’ll need to have a fully paid subscription in order to play the card game. To be honest, I really don’t think this is what’s going to save Galaxies.

    Two questions:

    Spell Check? – “Champtions”

Grammar Check? – “I know what would really Galaxies out;”

I would make sure you use these, or at least give it a read through before publishing an article on t’internet

This is what I get for writing before I’ve had my morning can of Mountain Dew…
