Sprint Samsung Galaxy S Pro 4G phone outed

We pointed you to the first shot of the Samsung Galaxy S Pro over at our sibling site Android Community earlier on, in our Daily Slash round-up, but now there are a few more shots of the smartphone to be had. The Galaxy S Pro – which, judging by the branding, is headed to Sprint's 4G network – has a full, slide-out QWERTY keyboard along with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, Android 2.1 and TouchWiz 3.0.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy S Pro has pretty much the same specifications as the Galaxy S, which presumably means a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, 512MB of RAM and ROM, and Bluetooth 3.0. We're also guessing at WiFi b/g/n and a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, which as we saw on the Wave S8500 is nothing to be sniffed at.

So, a second 4G WiMAX phone – the first being the HTC EVO 4G – and this time bringing a hardware keyboard; Sprint are certainly improving their game when it comes to Android. No word on when the Samsung Galaxy S Pro might launch or at what sort of price, but the rumors are pointing to an imminent debut.
