Just a point of clarification to the article above, to qualify for Premier Gold customers will need to have tenure of at least 10 years with Sprint OR have an individual plan of at least $89.99 for single OR a shared plan of at least $169.99.

When compared to rewards programs offered by other national carriers, the Sprint Premier program remains one of the best loyalty programs in the wireless industry today. Customers will continue to receive perks and benefits that exceed expectation in ways the competition can't match (anniversary rewards, Just Because Perks, discounts on accessories and more).

Thanks,

Sprint Premier was never a part of you Service Agreement. It was a benefit they introduced. I f you read the service agreement you would see that it only covers how long you have to keep you service active to avoid an ETF, ETF proration, Activation fees, Tax and Surcharges, and Binding Arbitration. The contract dose allow them to can changes service rates and terms at their discretions. in other word it dose not violate your contract as it was never a part of it and you do not get a free pass out of it.

Damnn. WTF is gonna be announced on Feb 7? Longshot is the Sprint iPhone - invite the Android blog sites just to rub it in - coming soon. All these recent changes to prevent upgrades and more fees just because your damn phones OS isn't some generic first year programmers midterm final is starting to freak out this Sprint customer. I hope all theses fee's will go toward IMPROVING service to attract me people which would prevent crap like this since we all know their finances aren't the best right now. Yes Sprint's coverage suits me just fine where I actually go for those Sprint haters : P

Dude,

Why do you or any other consumer think that the wireless companies owe you anything whatsoever? Every consumer good faces price hikes, IE GAS, FOOD, ClOTHING. Do you bitch to the grocery store or gas station or the GAP? NO. The fact of the matter is that Cell Phones are a LUXURY not a need and if you feel the need to complain about it get a life. In fact dont own a cell phone if you dont want to pay for it.

I am currently a Sprint customer, and I think they need to introduce a better variety of products like the iphone before they start raising rates and changing plans. They have put everything in the Android phone and it appears they are falling behind in the high tech market. I cannot wait for my contract to be up in a few months and get an iphone with Verizon.
