Sprint doubles down on data with their Better Choice plans

I enjoy watching phone providers fight it out to win over customers. Each one steps up their game just a bit, in order to outdo the competition. But just as one seems to have the upper hand, another comes out and flexes its muscles, in attempt to lure people to their service with a better deal. Today's newest deal comes from Sprint, who wants to give you more data than the competition.

The newest deal offered by Sprint promises double the amount of mobile data than the competition. Their Better Choice plans look to be specifically targeting Verizon, at least in their marketing material. Their plans give yo unlimited talk and text, plus a certain amount of data, which can be split between a number of lines.

As you can see from the graphic up top, their plans are exactly double that of Verizon, except for the case of their smallest plan, where it is actually triple the data. Right now, adding more data for less money seems to be one of the most successful moves for wireless providers. Since people are spending more time on their phones, and consuming more streaming content than ever, those GB add up fast.

If you run out of data on Sprint's new plans, you can choose to have your mobile internet throttled to 2G speeds, where you can get unlimited (slow) data. Or, you can choose to pay $15 for every additional GB you use each month. Sprint is also still offering up to $650 to any customer that's switching, to cover their early termination fees and such.
