Sprint is busy with a lot of things, from pushing the Palm Pre, to expecting the release of the network’s first Android phone, and trying to keep those needed subscribers in their ranks. But it keeps pushing strong with the network itself, and that’s something we can all appreciate.
Sprint announced that they’re expanding their WiMax coverage to 17 new markets later this year. Those markets are: Maui, Hawaii; Boise, Idaho; Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C.; Salem, Oregon; Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, Corpus Christi, Killeen-Temple, Lubbock, Midland-Odessa, San Antonio, Waco, and Wichita Falls, Texas; and Bellingham, Washington.
Sprint also affirmed that it will launch in Boston, Houston, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. during 2010.
