I love all of the “I think” and “It might be” and I could never understand how the “haters” hate a company so much, yet they still read up on the company, comment on the company and compare products from that company. If I am done with a company…. that is it, I am done. I guess the company who can hold on to “Haters” still has the “Haters” whipped.

@brian, i think HP is trying to clean everything up. they don’t want to release any half baked software, and want to ensure that it’s going to be optimized and designed to compete with an OS as reliable as iOS(hence the leaks and hype about feb 9). i’d rather wait a few more days to see if they really made webOS worth the wait, or if they’re too worried about printers and crappy laptops.

@cory, sprint has to adjust and approve before an update can be pushed OTA. where you think SprintTV comes from? better believe palm didn’t give us that.

I’m just calling it right now, and i’m gonna say it’s a phone with a 3d screen. Think about it. The nintendo 3ds comes out next month, and features a 3d capable screen that doesn’t require glasses. And only a few months ago, HTC was looking to hire engineers with aptitudes for E Ink and 3D display and imaging technologies. Now, we’re waiting on some new phones to be released on sprint. I’m just gonna go on a limb since david blaine is on hand to present this with them (he’s an illusionist), and say that he will be showing off the first 3d capable phone.

Not true – Andy Rubin (creator of Android / Vice President at Google) himself stated that honeycomb was not just for tablets, but that it would be available for phones as well.

What is true is that honeycomb was designed from the ground up with tablets in mind (originally android was developed with only phones in mind).

I would like a VNC with no lag, full video streaming, and my computer doesn’t need to be on for it to work…with all these cell companies going 4G…i don’t see why they don’t adopt VNC…this way downloads and stream will be done from a home computer and all the cell network has to do is stream over the live feed at a good speed with no lag…I want others opinions on this..would you like a real good speed, no lag, computer doesn’t need to be on, full use of phone camera as webcam VNC program.with dual core phones and 4G i don’t see why this couldn’t be done..am I wrong?

for those saying honeycomb is only for tablets…then maybe you should see how they put froyo on tablets honeycomb is a tablet UI and with the right super powerful dual core phones…you can run honeycomb…as you can see the slow release of gingerbread…sprint may announce a phone/tablet combo which i think would sell really well…it could be the HTC EVO 2T….your probably wondering where i got that name from….see you on the 7th

I hope it’s an announcement to make it the first FREE 4g phone (Evo, Epic, or Epic Shift) w/ a new or upgrade 2 year contract AND no more extra $10 a month for 4g service! Now we’re talking.. I’ll go sign on the dotted line the day after for an announcement like that! Otherwise, I might jump ship from Sprint when my contract expires in June. I have the Palm Pre since launch and I’m getting quite bored with it.. no updates or anything for a LONG while, no fulfillment of flash support as promised, no upgraded webOS to 2.0, since HP took over!!! What a way to keep customers HP/Palm!

I work for Sprint. It’s a new hybrid EVO/iphone that runs on nationwide 4g and has a special app that makes you fart rainbows and pixi dust. Let’s face it, nobody outside of the executive level knows anything. The “i know a guy” posts are completely bogus unless the guy you know is Dan Hesse. Could be network related or it could be device related. Bottom line everyone will find out on the 7th.
