There were 4,000 t-shirts given out; people who arrived at the store opening time (10 am) or even later got their shirts.

I would much rather have a free device than a T-shirt. But I guess this goes along with their “don’t give none, won’t be none” marketing attitude, like their Black Friday sale of $50 off an already $300 overpriced computer. I hope with Jobbs gone their pricing will become more competitive. For some reason I remember Apple computers being reasonably priced in the past… I liked those days.
