A 7″-8″ would make sense if Apple wants to put something out to compete in the lower price range tablet market. Maybe if the rumor of 5″ screens is true then they plan on building something to compete with the Samsung Galaxt Note. The “iNote” with a “iStylus” that doubles as a bluetooth “iHeadset”. iNot joking.

I had the same problem and once i fixed the caps myself it has worked wonderfully. Not justifying this, as noone should have to do such a thing especially on a $1500 tv, but at least there is a fairly simple fix.

I’ve had some real crap samsung phones (intercept, transform) and android isn’t my first choice (but have fully assimilated into my routine) but samsung tvs are top price to performance especially factoring reliability.

All flat planets from a certain date period (and other electronics from that slice of time) have chronic bad capacitors. Imacs suffered maybe worse than any product.
