Do not believe Ludacris, I suppose either he didn’t try them on or he just don’t know a thing about sound.
As a student in audio engineering i wanted to give them a shot.When i put them on i thought i had a pair of frying pans on my ears. 
Signeo (the company behind Soul Electronics) don’t know how to make headphones, they don’t have the experience and i guess they spent all their budget on Ludacris and didn’t have much left to develop their headphones line. 
Get some Bose, Sennheiser, Shure, Beyer Dynamic or Fanny Wang.
