That is, until even MORE cash is dropped in their re-election campaigns… and then this will surely pop up again. Corps will keep spending more and more money to buy our politicians, the public will continue to scream and wail when the topic is brought up, and politicians will continue to do what they have always done: not a damn thing besides get rich.
