Motorola is doing OK, as is LG. HTC makes good products and still has a decent chunk of the market. Unlike OS, there’s no compelling reason why the market would move towards consolidation of hardware manufacturers. Plus Sony has enough money to make it a vanity project if it wants to.

Mobile.market is already dominated by two behemoths like apple and samsung and it is unlikely to be easy to get back on track.and steal those pies from those two big firms.

This applies to LG and motorola as well. i think only company that still has a chance of regaining market momentum is htc. LG and sony really need to step up their games if they dont want to be forced out of mobile sector.
