Sony’s PlayTV DVR for PS3 has been delayed until September 19^th. The Sling-box like add-on for PS3 announced last fall was originally planned for a September release.

PlayTV will allow you to pause and rewind live Freeview TV and has dual tuners to allow you to watch one channel while you’re recording another. Recent improvements allow users to record a program while they are simultaneously playing a video game. Currently it will only be available for European Playstation owners.

Look for the add-on for a little less than 70 Quid September 19^th.
