Wouldn’t it be cool if your ordinary flash drive could work as an MP3 player? That’s the idea behind Sony’s new E Series Walkman DAPs.

They look and feel just like a regular USB drive, only they have a headphone jack and a cool screen on the front that can show you anything from the time, track information and album art. They are going to be offered in black, blue and pink with sizes ranging from 1GB to 4GB.

Unfortunately, these are currently slated to come out only in Japan later this month. No word on pricing or if they will be coming to the rest of the world any time soon.

    Actually Zune came out with something like this but you have to add some stupid battery thing to it that makes it 5 times larger…you get it the 30 Gig…i think
