the fastest phone i had was a chinese one. you picked it up, instantly had a dial tone. no wait. you press the numbers, it dials! you finish with that, it rings on the other side! fastest thing ever. no delay. NONE.

you see, i m bilingual. english, and hebrew. you cant install hebrew keyboard on WP7. no native support. only option? download some app, and using copy paste to type hebrew. the copy paste was implanted in WP7.5. besides that, developer wise, WP7/7.5 is a broken OS. at best you can play some games. but not much more.

btw, if you dont need many apps, just the basics, and you really think that way, why even try a smartphone? the nokia s40 got all the basics covered, and i remember them being very fast. i imagine the new ones, like the asha 303, should be really fast. S40 with 1GHZ? its like a moped with 4L engine.

You are truly mistaken. WP7 runs fast, much faster than android. I have in my possession, all three operating systems. And WP7 is the fastest, then iOS, then android. Which is just like iOS, lots of apps, but which ones do you really need? WP7 has all the basics that a person uses on the other platforms, so that is a dated argument you are trying muster up. Android on the other hand, is one of the most UNstable OS’s out there, and its’ been around longer than WP7. True story, go back to the drawing board.

yeah, but WP7 is also not really fast. the fastest thing out there, is rocks. you pick it, it get picked. you release it, it falls. you throw it at someone, it hits them. it hurts. basic functions, very solid build. oh, and it’s a goddamn rock. WP7 is probably the most disappointing mobile OS ever. lots of hype, ill tell you that, very slick UI, very neat UX, but not much more.

I’m gonna need to see more WP7 devices, because android is slowly getting old, like iOS. WP7 runs much better than android, give it a try if you don’t think so.
