Comments on: Sony VAIO T11 and T13 ultrabooks official

Why do they not list the weight of the T11. With airlines becoming increasingly difficult about the weight of handluggage it is important. I went to the Sony web site, but could not find any detail. 1.6 kg for the T13 is heavy for an Ultrabook. I currently have a Toshiba R600 with SSD and it weighs less than half at 788 grams.

It’s 2012, Sony!! We need 13″ screens that are at least 1600pixels wide!!
Also, launching a Sandy Bridge model when everyone else is planning Ivy Bridge ones seems a pretty daft idea.

Doesn’t matter to me either way, tbh. Any laptop without a clit-mouse (trackpoint) is useless, imho.

this isn’t very good timing, considering ivy bridge is right around the corner. people would probably wait until they get this upgrade. i’m happy with my vaio s at the moment. :)

600$ would be good for the 11 incher :) just hope that it’ll get an ivy bridge.

if their price is bigger than 600$, Sony will never sell them. Core i3 is slow and HDD are old.
A good ultrabook should have a Core i7 and SSD only. HDD is “evil” for this kind of computers.
Didn’t they learn the lesson of MacBook Air?
