Sony updates Vaio laptop line for winter

Sony has announced that it has now updated its line of Vaio notebook computer for the winter season. The fact that fall has only just begun aside the updated machines get new CPU options and more. The updated offerings include the Vaio EB/EA/AC series of machines. The purple color that you see in the photo below is now an option.

The Vaio lines can be fitted with Intel Core i5-580 and i5-460M CPUs for users that want more power and those looking for a cheaper offering can get a new Pentium option on some Vaio models. The EA and EB models can also get a new 1GB graphics card for more video performance.

Sony is also offering the machines with a free upgrade to a HD resolution screen now until October 9 or when supplied run out of the free upgrade units. The VAIO L series AIO machine gets a Blu-ray reader/writer option and 2TB of storage. Sony also has updates for the F series with a new NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M graphics card with 1GB of RAM and USB 3.0 port.
