Worth Reading?

NoYes

Remember that patent for a cool PS3 controller I showed you a few days ago? Well, don’t get too excited about it. Sony was kind enough to squash any hopes that we had of ever owning one of these.

No VR Controller

Companies will file many patents that they have no intention of using. Someone will get a great idea, patent it, then just forget about it. That is until someone else gets the same idea later on and actually creates the product, thus opening themselves up to a nice big lawsuit. This would be one of those patents.

I’m really glad to hear that Sony has no intention of making this product. This means that unless someone pays them a ton of money it will never get made by anyone. I was really worried that I would have to go out and learn how to use a really cool controller that could potentially revolutionize the gaming world as we know it. Man, I really dodged a bullet there.
