Upon first seeing this product, my first guess was that it was a modern light saber for Star Wars fans and the second guess was that it was a strange new lamp. I apparently seriously bite at guessing games, because a speaker is the last thing I would have guessed.

Sony Soutina speaker

This gorgeous speaker from Sony uses transparent organic glass to make up the tubing which vibrates and expands the sound to 360 degrees. The Soutina speaker has a frequency response of 50Hz – 20,000Hz.

Unfortunately you probably could have guessed from first glance that this was not a cheap speaker. Even before you knew it was a speaker, it is quite obviously not cheap. It is being sold for $10,200.
