Sony SBH60 Bluetooth headset includes wired connectivity

Sony recently introduced a new Bluetooth headset called the SBH60. Though not notable in name, the headset features a striking design that stands firmly between stylish and minimalistic, and with it comes a roster of features targeted towards the needs of smartphone users.

The headset has appeared on Sony's website, where unfortunately there are no clues about how much it costs nor when it will start shipping. What we do know, however, is that it'll be available in both black and white color options, and it will feature both Bluetooth and standard 3.5mm wired connectivity.

In addition, the headset also features NFC for simple pairing. Sony hasn't detailed the headset's hard specifications, but it promises the device will offer HD Voice alongside noise blocking technology for clear audio when taking phone calls or holding chat sessions. There's a single button to press to take a call while listening to music.

The design is meant to be "discreet" and comfortable for long listening sessions, with a metal headband connecting two ear cups. There are controls for adjusting volume and dealing with calls, as well as a microphone for taking them. The headset is said to last up to 13 hours during playback, and 24 days in standby.
