Sony reveals Billabong edition VAIO W netbook

Sony offers lots of computers today and some of them try and set themselves apart by offering style more than unique hardware. The Sony VAIO W line of netbooks have been around for a while land Sony has now announced a special edition of the VAIO W.

The special version is called the VAIO W Series Imperial Lime Edition and carries the Billabong clothing brand on the lid. The machine's lid is covered in art in bright colors to set the little rig apart from the other VAIO W units.

Under the bright paint the machine has a 10.1-inch LED backlit screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 and a 250GB HDD. Other features include up to eight hours of battery life, an Intel Atom 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, and the machine weighs 2.96 pounds. The normal W machines sell for $449.99 and the Billabong version starts at $500.
