Sony have begun selling the PSP-3000 in North America, the latest iteration of the company’s handheld games console.  As part of the launch, a special edition Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters bundle has been announced, which will include the PSP-3000 in limited-edition silver, the game and other added extras.

Those extras include a copy of Nicolas Cage’s National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets film on UMD, a voucher to download EchoChrome from the PlayStation Store, and a 1GB Memory Stick PRO Duo.  The MRSP of the bundle is priced at $199.99.

The PSP-3000 was announced last month, and is the third-generation evolution of the console.  It differs primarily from the PSP-2000 in its brighter display with “anti-reflection” technology, integrated microphone for use in gaming and VoIP such as Skype, and a dedicated PlayStation button.  Pricing for the Sony PSP-3000 on its own is unclear.
