It’s true…look on the playstation posts – 500 and counting. I tried it mysself, as my hard drive died – after installing a new WD 250 GB drive, v3.41 wouldn’t load from a USB stick. Luckily I was at 3.30 so I found and downlaoded 3.40 and that worked perfectly!

It wouldn’t be like Sony to remove a feature from their system that people want? Like PS2 compatibility and Linux? This is EXACTLY something I would expect them to do.
