This device has some beastly specifications for any handheld device currently out. If they included a microphone the psvita out specs a droid bionic for the price minus the 4g.. it is more than twice the device the 3DS is, and coming from a nintendo fanboy the PS vita is an enticing bit of hardware.

But I’d take this release date with a grain of salt. December 31 is just Amazon’s default date when they don’t know when it will actually come out. I saw this same fact reported a couple months ago.
