I keep expecting something big for the Vita. At least that’s what I’m waiting for before I buy one. I’m waiting for that update that pushes it over the edge, and really gives me something that I didn’t have before. I’ll stick to my consoles for the rare exclusive, PC for most gaming and 3DS for mobile gaming. The Vita’s graphics are really nice, but until the game portfolio gets something truly amazing, or the system itself gets an upgrade with something cool, I’ll probably wait.

Also the PlayStation site says the current firmware is 1.61.
