PCs have been leaving Consoles behind for years. I am actually a PC gamer and love how the graphics on the PC are 10 times better than both my PS3 and 360.

Just buy the consoles toward the end of the generation. Currently, you can get any console for $285 or less if you’re in the U.S.

It’s business. You get what you pay for. Miniaturizing existing hardware and adding it to new hardware cost money. The high defects rates, initially, cause fewer units to pass QA, decreasing the supply & driving up the initial costs.

I think 300 DOLLARS is the maximum price a console should be. Everything above is overpriced. It doesn’t matter if it has 20 cores. I just want to play games and that’s it.

Yea, but you’ll just get left behind and they’ll find millions of gamers who will invest in it over the next 5-10 years. I understand the complaint, I don’t like it either, BUT you either get with the times or you get left behind and you can go do something else. Whether it plays used games or not, it’s all gonna change anyway. The old model of buying used games is going to be ending soon, just as CD and records has become. Nobody wants to buy physical media anymore.
