Tell your grandma that old analog TV of her worth $100 of Bravia’s trade in promotion. Sony Electronics announced a cash value trade in program to encourage consumers to recycle their old TV set. The offer, which is good until the March 15 2008, was designed to control consumers recycle and dispose of electronic devices before the 2009 Digital TV transition.

Sony has opened 79 recycling locations throughout the US and expects more waste management center in effect soon. Consumer is welcome to drop off their old TV set at recycling program center, which can be located at here or by calling 1-877-439-2795. More information on Sony $100 trade in can be founded here

    Wow, that’s pretty nice. I’m glad that they are thinking like that and allowing that…

    Glad to hear some more companies are trying to get consumers to think more green.
