Sony launches HDMI Swivel Cables

Sony today introduced its swivel high-speed HDMI cables, allowing for easier installation of audio and video components against walls.  The new DLC-HD10H, DLC-HD10V and DLC-HD10H HDMI cables have connectors that swivelling up to 90 degrees.

Signal quality is certified at up to 1080p resolution and 10.2-Gbps data output. These connectors click into place at 45 and 90 degrees.

The cables “feature space-saving angled grips in addition to high-speed bandwidth supporting 120Hz refresh rate, deep color, extended color gamut and lossless audio for a true digital cinema experience.” The connectors have been developed with gold plated plugs, triple shielding and oxygen-free copper wire. Offered in two lengths the DLC-HD10H and DLC-HD10V (3ft 3in) cables run for about $50. The DLC-HD20H and DLC-HD20V (6ft 6in) cables are both about $60.
