I find that it's best for watching blu-rays(3D or 2D), really feels like being in a theater all alone. Still experimenting with games, Battlefield 3 on pc is very immersive in stereoscopic 3D mode. It is slightly heavy but laying down in bed or kicking back in a recliner solves that. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, money well spent.(hide)

I have owned many diffrent version of headsets dating back to the early 90's. My last set was Emagine's Z800's with max 800x600 per eye oled. these were great when they came out however I used them the least as many of the games were all better looking at 1024x768 and 800x600 could not give enough view with the game huds eating most of the screen. these new 720p should free up alot more room for interfaces in games. Even mmo's which usually have more on screen than other games. Should be interesting to test once my set gets here.

You don't know what you're saying. These ARE GROUNDBREAKING! There hasn't been a HMD with this kind of resolution costing less than $15,000. Believe me, I've been wanting a pair for over a decade an have researched them all. The one you mentioned are the same piece-of-crap released by other vendors. This resolution is unheard of in the consumer market, only commercial grade versions were available, bulky and costing over $15k.

Also, check the resolution on those. I don't think Olympus ever made one bigger than 480p. Which is a real shame, because I've always wanted a good, high-resolution hmd.
