Sony HDR-CX330 Handycam camcorder has Exmor R CMOS sensor

Sony has added a new camcorder to its Handycam line up called the HDR-CX330. The camcorder can record in full HD resolution. Optical SteadyShot tech helps keep the images clear and blur free during filming. Sony also equips the camera with integrated WiFi and NFC tech.

The image stabilization tech is important since the camcorder has 30x digital zoom. A wide-angle Sony G Lens makes it easy to get an entire group in a shot. Dual Video Recording is a feature that records video in two formats at one time.

The two formats include AVCHD for high-quality footage and MP4 format that is easy to share. Sony uses a 9.2MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and the Bionz X processing engine. A 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD with 230k dot resolution lets you see what you are recording.

Sony is aiming the new camcorder at first time users wanting a camera with lots of features that is easy to use. Pricing and availability for the camera are unknown at this time.
