Sony E3 2014 news: PlayStation TV, white PS4, and YouTube inbound

Sony has wrapped up its E3 2014 conference, and over the course of those couple hours we got a look at all sorts of upcoming titles, as well as some new hardware inbound for the United States (among other regions) and perks for PlayStation Network users.

For those craving the PS Vita TV, you'll be able to grab your own this upcoming fall in Canada, the United States, and European markets — under the new name PlayStation TV. This will also be joined by a new white PlayStation as part of the Destiny Bundle set to arrive on September 9.

The PlayStation 4 itself will be getting some new perks — namely, the addition of YouTube as an official share option this fall. In addition, PlayStation Network users will also be getting a new ability: co-op play in Far Cry 4 without owning a copy of the game (assuming you have a friend who does).

A slew of games were also previewed for the PlayStation during the event, among them being such things as Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, The Order: 1886, Bloodbourne, LittleBigPlanet 3, and Entwined. All are up on the PlayStation YouTube page for your enjoyment.

Also rounding out news was that PlayStation Now's open beta arrives on July 31, giving those with a PS4 access to a slew of PlayStation 3 titles. In addition, Sony announced that PlayStation Now will be arriving for the PS3, PS Vita, and some of Sony's TVs in the near (and unspecified) future.
