Sony E020F NW series MP3 players follow the KISS principle

In case you’ve never heard of it, its an acronym for “Keep It Simple Stupid”, essentially it means don’t over complicate things. Sony has done just that with these MP3 players, they work almost identically to a flash drive, you plug them directly into the USB port on your computer, drag and drop your audio files, and it charges as the same time.

I really don’t think it gets much simpler than this, and, as an added bonus, I am pretty sure you can use them as a flash drive as well. They accept MP3, AAC, WMA, and ATRAC audio files and the players have a small, and simple, interface to navigate through to play the music from.

There is some audio processing as well with Clear Stereo and Clear Bass modes, there is also an FM radio built in. The best part comes when you are charging them, they have a USB port built in, so you don’t have to worry about that, but if you charge it for 3 minutes, you get 3 hours of playback, and a maximum charge (presumably 30 minutes) nets you 30 hours of playback. If you want one, they start at around $102 in Japan and that range in capacities from 1GB to 4GB.
