I have to give it to Sony, it was only yesterday that we reported on the rumors of a 120GB PS3, and they’re already smashing rumors. According to Sony “We do not currently have any plans to release a 120GB PlayStation 3 in the UK.” Wait, what about the US?

PS3

This is one of those statements that can be taken so many different ways, especially out of context. The Sony rep that spoke these words is actually from SCEE {Sony Computer Entertainment Europe), so it’s only natural that they would only be speaking of that region. Then again, if they didn’t have any intention of releasing it anywhere, why not just say “We do not have any plans to release a 120GB PlayStation 3”?

There are plenty of arguments for both sides, and I think I’ll let you guys make of it what you want. I think that it’s only a matter of time before we see larger hard drives and Dual Shock 3 bundles. Wait a minute, they didn’t say anything about a bundle with Dual Shock 3 controllers….
