Sony Dash gets Hulu Plus support
Of all the screens we thought we'd see Hulu Plus appear on next, the 7-inch LCD of Sony's Dash wasn't one of them. Still, if you're paying Hulu $9.99 for the privilege of accessing its season-long catalog of TV episodes and movies, you can now stream that content to the chumby-based "Personal Internet Viewer".
Until now, Sony has been primarily pushing its catalog of around 1,000 free apps for the Dash, which offer things like YouTube access, weather reports, news RSS headlines and Twitter updates. Hulu Plus isn't such an odd addition, however; you can already access Amazon Video On Demand and Netflix from the compact device.
The Dash has an RRP of around $199 (street price is generally around thirty bucks less).

Beyond full episodes, Hulu Plus also offers clips and featurettes for many shows.
Hulu Plus, available for $9.99 per month, joins the existing Dash platform of more than 1,000 free apps including social networking, news, weather, sports, online radio and video and more, provided by chumby industries, inc. and Sony's BRAVIA® Internet Video service.

Dash is a Wi-Fi connected device that features a vivid 7-inch color touch screen and built-in stereo speakers. Its content library continues to expand in both size and variety, most recently with the addition of SHOUTcast™ Internet Radio and several useful calendar and organizational apps.
