Through every incarnation of the DS system you have been able to keep and play your old games, including old DS games on the new 3DS.  I have to
extensive a library of UMD games that would just go out in the garbage.  I was really considering buying a Vita but not any more. Sony is just being greedy and money grubbing and it’s definitely going to be their downfall in the portable gaming world.

Why would one buy a vita to play psp games anyway? I received my first bundle vita a couple days ago along with a 4GB mem stick. I’d buy the physical copies of the games because I don’t want to populate my mem card; learning from psp go experience.

I have a PSP for a reason. In my experience playing a game on it’s native hardware is preferred over a different hardware which now has to scale up the original game to utilize the new tech specifications. I would imagine that the PSP games would look muddied and fuzzy on a PS Vita when you scale the game’s native resolution to match that of the Vita.
