Sony bumps processor, offers up new skins on Vaio T series

Sony is bumping the processor speed for their T series Vaio’s from 1.06GHz to 1.2GHz. On top of that, from Sony Vaio Style Japan you’ll be able to get some new skins for your notebook.

A couple of the skins look fairly professional, kind of like nice wallpaper, while the other two offer some actual art for the back of your notebook. The extra 140MHz on the processor speed isn’t that big of a deal, but it might be noticeable when you try and multi-task on your notebook.

The new Vaio T series notebooks with these skins are selling for $1583 in Japan. Of course the regular colors will still be available as well.
