Sony keeps their tradition on making sexy laptops. VAIO CR is no different, it has an eye-catching chassis with glossy finish and silver trimed frame. It’s available in several colors; sangria, cosmopolitan, dove, indigo, and matte black.

Sony Announces VAIO CR - featuring Intel Santa Rosa platform

Under the stylish look, Core 2 Duo CPU powers the Sony VAIO CR with GM965 chipset and integrated Intel GMA X3100 GPU. It features 14.1 Inch widescreen display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 802.11n draft wireless, ExpressCard slot, Memory Stick Duo reader, Secure Digital slot, and built-in DVD burner.

The VAIO CR can be loaded up with 4GB RAM and up to 200GB hard drive. It weight around 5.5lbs. It should be available at the end of June with the price tag of $1,350 for base configuration.

    Actually pal, Sony does a lot of work for Apple…many of the Macbook’s components are actually manufactured by Sony
