I had a Sonos for awhile, and it was cool, but I ran into major issues when my computer was not working properly. did you run into issues like this?
I recently got rid of the Sonos, and am looking into getting a music server with an onboard Hard Drive to get rid of the need for a computer.
Can you give any advice. I've looked at the phillips WACS700 ( www.philliips.com) and the Olive Musica ( www.olive.us ). Any info will help greatly....CHRISTMAS IS COMING SOON!!!

Well, sorry for the upset jswede. And that is why I made it clear so that you dont "find this out later" that the Sonos is not compatible with iTunes purchased songs. So, I suppose for the folks whose playlists comprise only of songs from that other million that's missing from Rhapsody, then the Sonos would not be a good choice for now. But I'm sure the Rhapsody collection is ever increasing and there are many very happy Rhapsody users out there. In fact, the "all you can eat" buffet style they're serving up on a monthly basis is getting quite popular and in my opinion beats having to pay $1 a song. Anyone else got opinion on this?

re: iTunes compatibility

" But then again, why make this effort, when you can probably find all the same songs on Rhapsody, play them and transfer them unlimited times"

Considering iTunes has well over 2 million songs and Rhapsody around 1 million, this statement is quite a stretch. Were I to dish out $1000+ for a Sonos on Rue Liu's advice, only to find this out later.... I'd not be happy with Rue Liu.
