This is no ordinary Bluetooth headset; while it will likely work with your cellphone or laptop, the PS3 branding should give away the fact that’s it’s been Sony sanctioned. Actually, this is the headset that will accompany the Blu-ray version of SOCOM Confrontation for the console, with a couple of gaming-specific features that differentiate it from a standard hands-free kit.
The most obvious is the mute button, which is rare to find on a Bluetooth earpiece. A recharging cradle will also be provided, connecting via USB and capable of being powered via the PS3 itself.
Sony has not released pricing details for the SOCOM headset, but it has confirmed that it will be available both bundled with the game and separately. The design is also yet to be finalized, so there could be some changes before it hits shelves.

dude this bluetooth is awsome and yeah it does look easy to use…i like the detail too it matches the ps3…i give it a 10 out of 10

dope. pre-ordered bundle today can’t wait to get it next week. Is there any way to change what ear it goes in? never had a mic for ps3 before so I don’t know much about them.

i have received my socom confrontation with headset and the game has lots of issues needed to be worked out. im sure we know them all.
- Quick switch weapons: sucks ass you have to stop to switch
- When taunts/team commands are said your guy has to stop: STUPID idea. FIX.
- Throwing grenades: Sucks, the line indicator does NOT show a accurate throwing distance.
- Jumping: is horrible. and pathetic, Even when you have light weight on.
- Shooting over side walls/cliffs: You can’t shoot over the railings or walls. How stupid that is. FIX.
- Names not showing up when your teammate talks as in showing were they are – located when they talk.
- LAG is a BIG issue always is and don’t they learn that lag is an issue. so fix the damn shit already.
- Cant follow your friends from friends list. “stupid what were you thinking not adding this feature” uhhhhh… i don’t knowwww…. eRrrr..
-Server Rooms Are unorganized.

ya man do not like the game at all, mic is awesome but that’s it. COD is way ahead of it, atleast with shooting, jumping, and general movement. First day i got it tried for 30mins to join any server and wouldn’t let me, but today i finally got in
